At 15:29 this afternoon the team was paged by Lancashire Constabulary who were requesting our assistance in the search for a missing walker in the vicinity of Darwen Moor and Roddlesworth. A male had been reported as overdue from a moorland walk by a concerned family member, and with additional concern due to the man's medical history, an urgent response was required. The male's planned route covered his home address (in Darwen) to Darwen Tower and back again, which would normally have taken 1-2 hours to complete. Recruitment is still open to our Support Group.

Please note due to training commitments we are not able to arrange lecture visits involving the team membership during Wednesday evenings. (Existing arrangements will all be honoured)
