At the invitation of the Irish Mountain Rescue Association, we were honoured to send Mike Marsh (our communications officer and an ex team training officer) to their national party leaders course, held just outside Dublin over the weekend of November 2^nd-4^th. Mike acted in the capacity of advisor and senior instructor on the course alongside a colleague from Calder Valley SRT. Mike thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the interest and hospitality of his Irish hosts and colleagues in the Irish mountain rescue service. The Bolton Team has previously helped IMRA courses and welcomes the opportunity to meet with like-minded people and drink lots of Guinness! … Hope we get an invite for 2002!
