Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

11th November 2001

On Sunday, November 11th we again attended the Remembrance Sunday memorial service at the Lead Mines Clough memorial. 15 team members were present at the ceremony (Complimenting 95 persons in total). The memorial was erected in 1955 by the Rotary Club of Horwich to the memory of the 5 RAAF pilots who lost their lives 1943 when a Wellington bomber crashed on the same moor.
