Today we were called to an animal rescue to bring a sheep up from a vertical bank at Anglezarke reservoir. Obviously thinking “that looks like a nice patch of grass”, the sheep decided to leap over a wall and promptly fell some 25 feet, into the water. The location was inaccessible to the farmer, and we were called in to help. A successful outcome – and the creature decided to make a break for it after we’d hauled it up!
