From 21:00 on New Year’s Eve, through to 06:00 on New Year’s Day, our four vehicles were called to a total of 18 incidents on behalf of the Greater Manchester and Lancashire Ambulance Services (GMAS and LAS). 15 team members were kept very busy all through the night, and spanned areas from Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens, through to Salford, Bolton Town Centre, and going as far north as Haslingden. In one obscure case, we were required to transport a patient from Bacup to Halifax!
