Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd February 2002

On both Sunday January 27th and today, we held joint exercises with GMAS, to demonstrate our capabilities in a search & rescue role. Over the 2 days, 7 GMAS personnel attended (1 ambulance technician, and 6 incident desk personnel). After kit demonstrations in the morning, we ran a set of practical exercises involving difficult extrications, casualties with suspected cervical spine “injuries”, and search & carry demonstrations over boggy terrain.
