Our AGM was held tonight, at which our team officers were elected to post for another year. 34 Team members attended, firstly hearing the Chairmans’, Team Leaders’ and Treasurers’ annual reports. Both the Chairman and the Team Leader commented on the tremendous team successes in all areas of the teams workings over the last year, including our ever strengthening, closer ties with GMFS, and our continuing close working relationship with the Ambulance and Police services in our area. Special mention was made of the success of our website!
Garry Rhodes was re-elected as Team Leader, and he can now look forward to his 14th year in this office. Geoff Seddon was re-elected as DTL, and Tony McNally was re-elected as Chairman, both begin their 11th year in continuous service.
Ann Shaw is the team’s new Training Officer (as she was 1995 – 1998), and Ged Clarke takes over Ann’s old job as Treasurer. Other posts remain unchanged and can be found in our membership listing.
Finally thanks are due to 25th Bolton Scout Group for allowing us the use of their H.Q. for our AGM.
