We were called by GMAS, who in turn had been called to assist Merseyside Ambulance Service. The team was requested to assist with an incident reported at one mile from the nearest road, in the Billinge area of Merseyside. An immediate response was about to be made by one of our Landrovers, which was attending a course at GMFS Bolton, along with a Rossendale SRT Landrover (also at GMFS Bolton) when a stand-down message was received.
