Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

15th April 2002

Team members visited the GMP Air Support Unit’s base at Barton Aerodrome, for a presentation on the features of the new MD900 Explorer (NOTAR) helicopter. We frequenty work with this aircraft on both search & rescue incidents. To familiarise ourselves with its capabilities & capacity whilst on the ground (e.g., FLIR (infra-red), Night Sun, airborne time, etc) is all part of our training.
Unforuntatley we had to cut the meeting short, as they were called to track a stolen car!
