We’ll have over 40 team members present over the six days of Mountain Bike and Road Race events, centred on Rivington. Regular meetings and awareness training is now occurring between the team and LAS, SJAB, and the ATACC team, who will be jointly covering the activities. For all six days we can expect to be “on duty” from 06:00 hrs. in the morning until 20:00 hrs. in the evening! (Besides competitors, we’ll also be involved in spectator safety, estimates of which mean we can expect between 30,000 and 50,000 visitors to our area!). The team will also be involved in links to the Police and Fire Service resources, also on direct call in Rivington.
