GMAS contacted the team for assistance with the evacuation of a 26 year old woman who had sustained a fractured lower leg in a fall on the slopes below Peel Tower, Holcombe. 2 team vehicles were quickly on scene and a very steep ground stretcher evacuation was undertaken. Given the sunny weather of the previous few weeks, this incident took place in squally hail, sleet and snow showers, and a thunderstorm!
