9 Team members, along with two team vehicles and our team display were present at the GMP. Bolton Division Open Day, held today at Astley Bridge Police Station. Our display alongside those from GMP generated a lot of public interest, as well as much “button and switch” pressing by excited children let loose in our team vehicles! A number of distinguished quests visited our display, each being greeted by our Team Leader who answered their many questions and obvious interest and support of the team. These included local MPs Dr Brian Iddon, David Crausby and MEP Gary Titley, team supporter within Bolton MBC Councilor Frank White and the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton. A number of Senior Bolton Police officers also visited our display. Public donations received totaled £24.45.
