18 team members and four team vehicles provided standby safety cover for the cycle and fell race elements of the Darwen Triathlon. Weather conditions on the morning were atrocious, with torrential rain and hail. Over 90 competitors took part and most finished despite the awful conditions. It’s becoming a feature of these reports, but once again (thankfully) nothing happened!
