As we returned back to base from the last incident, two team members travelling in a private car witnessed an RTA in Horwich. A team ambulance followed, and again we found ourselves dealing with a casualty – this time a young girl with a very serious ankle injury. She was transported to Hospital in a GMAS ambulance.
Today was the team’s busiest day ever, both in terms of incidents and casualties dealt with (aside from “minor” incidents on standby rescue days, and New Year’s ambulance assistance).
