We then received another call from LAS requesting our help with a Spot Pickup of a walker who had slipped and fractured their ankle while out supervising a youth group. One of the problems with people on walks is that they never know their location, so this involved a search of the vague location given, by us and the Air Ambulance. Casualty located by Team members and then loaded into Helimed 08 for casevac to hospital.
Why is it that when ever we go and do training its always interrupted by someone requiring our assistance!
