Some news which appears somewhat late, we are pleased to announce that 22 of our team members have been honoured in this , the Queen’s Golden Jubilee year, to receive the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, which has been issued to those in the Armed services and the Emergency Services who upto February this year had completed 5 years continuous service in their respective organisations. Our medals do not arrive until February next year ! despite other organisations other than Mountain Rescue already having received theirs. ( that’s Government forward planning for you !!!!! ) As an interim the team has received via our regional body, the MPSRO, medal ribbons.
