At 14:32 We were called out by GMAS who had received a 999 call reporting a crashed 4 wheel drive vehicle on the coal tips at Little Hulton. In addition to our selves and GMAS, also involved in this incident were the crew from Helimed 08 and Greater Manchester Police resources.
The vehicle had toppled over and rolled down a steep slope – throwing both occupants out – one of whom suffered serious injuries and was evacuated by Helimed 08.
The other occupant was lucky and escaped with minor injuries. 23 team members were involved in this incident, which was completed at 16:00. Photographs of the wreckage are here.
