Lancashire Ambulance Service paged the team at 11:00 requesting assistance with an incident at woodlands alongside Turton and Entwistle Reservoir. Helimed 08 and a GMAS crew also attended, together with officers from Lancashire Police – the incident was a 68 years old man out walking with family members, who had suffered a cardiac arrest. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead on scene and the team was asked to transport his body via our ambulances, to be received by the coroners’ officer at the roadhead.
