In the June 2003, issue 6 copy of ’Rhythm & Blues’ the newsletter for Greater Manchester Ambulance Service NHS Trust, the Team featured in a full colour, full page article, all about how we work with GMAS and what the Team is about. The header to the article stated “Thanks to the effort of this Team of volunteers, some of GMAS’s more difficult jobs are made far easier“. A direct quote from GMAS Director of Operations, Derek Cartwright, accompanied the excellent article on us; “BMRT plays an invaluable part in providing emergency healthcare and the Teams’ support to GMAS is second to none. Their skills and devotion to helping the people of Greater Manchester is done on a totally voluntary basis and we are very grateful for the Team’s help” Praise indeed from GMAS Director of Operations.
