The team was grateful to receive an invitation to give a presentation to students of Coney Green High School Radcliffe. The college, which regularly supports the team with our mobile phone/toner appeal was hosting an “industry day”. Also present were Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester County Fire & Rescue Service and Greater Manchester Ambulance Service, as well as the Armed Forces. The enthusiasm of the students was only matched by that of the teachers, judging by the way that the latter enjoyed playing with the “blues and two’s”! We were particularly delighted to receive a £30 donation from the staff and special thanks go to Amanda Smethurst & Susan Gilfoyle for their continued support.
