Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

11th July 2004

The team was delighted to attend the annual two day Egerton Victorian Village Fair. on Saturday July 10th, the Teams attendance was affected by the wet weather, but smaller crowds for this 2 day event meant that the team members present didn’t have to wait as long in the face painting queue! The make-up was barely dry when the pagers buzzed to tell us of a call out (see incident 54)

Neil Ramsbottom, Mark Dooley, Alison Yates & Pete McKale, show their animal instincts off at the Fair.

Sunday and the weather was kinder and the crowds came out to enjoy displays, rides and the tug ’o’ war. The team would like to thank the organisers, and the people of Egerton for inviting us and for their continued support. At the end of the event, the Team counted £22.22 in our collecting buckets – with thanks to all the members of the public who donated.

BMRT members prove they know the etiquettes of tea drinking.
