8 Team members and 2 of our Mountain Rescue Landrovers, attended today’s Darwen Gala, putting on a Mountain Rescue vehicle & equipment display, on the Darwen Gala exhibition field. The members were also on hand to provide immediate stand-by rescue cover for the associated Darwen Tower Fell Race. £11.94 was raised from public donations. (See also donations below). The Darwen Gala gives us an annual opportunity to show the Team off to the greater Darwen community.
