Today the team received a wonderful donation of £100 from Steven Salthouse, who we rescued, following his mountain bike accident on Winter Hill in June this year (see incident 50/2004).

Steven says: “After surgery a bit of metal work and a lot of sitting around things are looking promising, I’ve returned to work and movement is slowly returning to my leg. I am truly grateful to the team that evening, it was poor weather conditions and the professionalism in the way the team operated was of the highest standard. They were kind, efficient and reassuring, I will never forget as the team appeared out of the mist of the evening to my aid, it was certainly a sense of relief.”
