Darwen Masters Swimming Club held their annual swim/hill race biathlon this morning in somewhat unusual wintry conditions. 67 competitors took park, watched over by a small number of team members immediately on hand to deal with any problems. (Other team members were just a phonecall away at our base assisting with the potential new member training day). Aside from one self-retirement, there were no incidents to report. Darwen Masters Swimming Club is a valued supporter of the team via regular donations and are general supporters of our cause.
