The end of year total for monies raised from collection tins now stands at £885.01. We think this is a tremendous amount of money that you the public have given to us in 40 locations around the Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Cheshire area. This kind of support from establishments that kindly allow us to display a collection tin or from the public who generously donate, is greatly appreciated by all in the Team. (Although the Fundraising Officer has now gained quite a few pounds visiting all the tea rooms!)One location in particular deserves a special mention. Vaughn’s Tea Rooms at the Roddlesworth Information Centre managed to raise £108.62 during the last quarter of the year. In the New Year we would like to increase the number of collection tin locations, so if your local pub, restaurant, tea room, or business is in a position to help please contact the Fundraising Officer.
