The team was asked to attend to a young man at home in Little Hulton who had a suspected fractured ankle. The suspected fracture was immobilised using a vacuum splint and the casualty was transported to Royal Bolton Hospital. It was unfortunate that we were unable to transport this young mans parents who were unable to drive to the hospital as they had consumed some alcohol during the evening.
