Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

9th February 2005

As part of our on going MRC Casualty Care Course training that has almost totally occupied our Wednesday nights for the last couple of months, this evening’s session included maternity and emergency child birth. Thanks to a long friend of the team, Peter Idle, a GMAS Paramedic, he was able to arrange a excellent guest lecturer for us in Annette Atherton, a midwife at Royal Bolton Hospital.

Annette proved an excellent speaker, demonstrating emergency child birth with the use of a birth doll and video.
The team is grateful to Annette for giving up her night, and for providing such an interesting lecture. (And yes, all the usual jokes were there!)
