GMAS Control contacted the team in the late afternoon regards assistance to GMAS with an ongoing peak demand situation in the Bolton area. The team was able to put three Landrover ambulances at the immediate disposal of GMAS. 2 incidents were dealt with, one minor, the other involving an elderly gentleman who had suffered a suspect stroke. Both casualties were transferred in our Landrover ambulances to Royal Bolton Hospital.
