Held at our Ladybridge Hall Base and intended to clear our backlog of outstanding membership applications, some 20 enquiries/applications were sent out for this “Introduction to the Team” evening. Of eight people who were expected, six turned up, and were treated to videos and Powerpoint presentations regarding joining the team and what we are about.

Many questions were asked of the team members present, with five out of the six expected to attend a full day out with the team on Sunday November 20th, when they will be tested on their navigational abilities, and also take part in a series of Mountain Rescue scenerios, aimed at showing what being in the team and carrying out “typical” rescues entails.
