Our Teams dog handler, Dave Marsh, attendended a one day course relating to
First Aid for Dogs.The course was held at the Dog Training School for South
Yorkshire Police, at their training base in Sheffield. During the days
course, subjects touched upon included:- history gathering whilst approaching
the injured animal, carrying out A B Cs; bandaging and splinting, stemming
blood flow etc. Thanks go to Dave Coss of SARDA England for liaison, Vet Simon
from MediVetK9 Services and of course to our colleagues from the Dog Training
School at South Yorkshire Police.
