Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd January 2006

Ask any member of the Team what happens when Garry Rhodes, Team Leader, goes away on holiday ? Well, the Team tends to get lots of press coverage and today was no exception !

After giving an interview to BBC GMR radio Geoff Seddon, Deputy Team Leader, was then contacted by BBC TV (Manchester) News for a piece on the Team and its record year. 5 Team members and Geoff, assembled for a quick bit of filming, an interview, a bit more filming and then a well earned cuppa.

The Team’s effort was rewarded with the only video report to appear in the BBC North West News item at lunchtime. Where was Garry ? away in the Lake district, probably unaware of yet another TV interview that Geoff had done !!

We also appeared on the BBC Manchester News Website with this article.
