Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

As on many previous occasions, the team was happy today to assist Bolton Countryside Ranger Service with some basic map and compass navigation instruction and training. Team members (and it goes without saying expert map readers) Andy Ryding and Fred Taylor met up with the Rangers, who were all trainees, at Smithills Hall, Bolton, and provided a full and intensive mornings theory and practical work.

Such training provision by the team is very beneficial, in that the good links we have with BCRS are maintained and strengthened
