35 team members responded and in the extremely hot conditions of the late evening, conducted a thorough search of all the path network, bird hides and water margins of the country park, along with a two man Canadian canoe team from the team’s canoe & kayak unit, which conducted a surface water search. Just after midnight, with new Police intelligence, the search was suspended in this particular area. By 01:30 in the early morning of Friday 5th May, all team members had returned to their home locations for some well earned sleep (Our 3rd callout in only 4 days).
Police enquiries regarding this missing man are continuing.
