On this glorious early summer day, 32 team members and one member of the team Support Group provided standby rescue cover for the Belmont village Winter Hill fell races. There were 3 junior races, under 12, with 20 competitors, under 14 with 21 competitors, and under 18’s with 16 competitors, timed between 12:00 and 13:00, taking in a course on the slopes and to the summit of Winter hill. At 13:45 the main senior event took place, with 132 competitors. Aside from one retirement everybody completed the event without mishap. The team is very happy to continue its long association with this well-established event.
