The team today received a fantastic £200.00 donation following our provision of Standby Rescue Cover at the Belmont Village Winter Hill Fell Races on Saturday 6th May (see seperate article). The organiser Dave Bateson passed on written thanks to the team including the comment that “the team were superb in ensuring safety on the hill.”

Those involved with the races, primarily the organiser Dave Bateson, are tremendous and very much valued supporters of the team, and the team in turn is always willing to help out with this tough fell race.

Next year’s event is planned for Saturday 5th May, 2007, and as ever the team will be present in strength to fully support the junior and senior races.
