Horwich Carnival Series Lever Park Run
As part of the Horwich Carnival races, Horwich RMI Harriers & Athletics Club organised tonights Lever Park run. This event takes place through the tracks of Lever Park, up through the Terraced Gardens, returning via the Pigeon Tower to Lower House and back into Lever Park. 132 runners took part in the event, with 30 Team members in our four Land Rover Ambulances providing Standy-by Rescue Cover.
The event took place in warm, humid conditions following a very warm spell, so track conditions were excellent. The race concluded with no incidents. The Team is very happy to provide its direct support to Horwich RMI H & AC in its various events held within our Team area. In turn we are pleased to report that Horwich RMI H & AC provide excellent support via donations to Bolton MRT.
