Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

15th June 2006

As part of a pre-planned response to an anticipated peak demand period on GMAS, arising out of demands made on the ambulance service during and after England World Cup matches, the team was asked to provide vehicles and response crews for this evening, along with our colleagues in Oldham MRT and St. John Ambulance Brigade.

The team provided 4 team vehicles and 15 personnel and commencing with the first call at 22:39, dealt with 4 calls up to 23:00, including two code red calls, one code amber, and one code green, in the Bolton & Wigan areas.

The team is happy to provide such assistance to GMAS during such peak demand periods as part of GMAS’s Resilience Plan.
