Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

24th August 2006

Last August we were called to Ousels Nest Quarry, opposite the Jumbles Reservoir, to assist GMAS with a climber, Iain Bisset, who had suffered injuries sustained in a fall whilst out rock climbing with his father Doctor David Bisset.
Doctor Bisset contacted us as the anniversary of his sons accident came around, to state that Iain is now fully recovered and out and about climbing and mountaineering again.

Today we received an extremely kind donation of £75.00 from Doctor Bisset on behalf of his son Iain’s rescue last year.
We are very grateful to Doctor Bisset for this donation and indeed family members, including Doctor Bisset who also sent donations to the team last year immediately following Iain’s accident, including publicly thanking the team through the local newspaper.
