This evening, whilst our Team Leader was entertaining guests from the Bolton Lever Rotary Club, he was surprised by the arrival of ex-team member and former SARDA Dog handler, Dave Marsh, who was visiting the base with some excellent news.

David had with him a large donation from the recent Diamond Wedding celebrations of his mother and father, Eddie and Jenny Marsh of Cemetery Road, Tonge Bridge, who had kindly requested donations to the Mountain Rescue Team in lieu of presents on the milestone achievement of their Diamond Wedding.

In total, Dave Marsh, on behalf of his parents, brought along £275.

The whole team is extremely grateful for this kind thought from Eddie and Jenny and joins together in wishing them every congratulation on the wonderful and very special occasion of their Diamond Wedding anniversary.
