This evening a Special General Meeting was held resulting in the election of very experienced team member Gyles Denn to the post of Equipment Officer (Stretchers and Rope Rescue) within the Team Council.

Gyles, aged 30, joined the team in April 1997, and has previously held this same position during his service to date with the team, prior to his recent election Gyles had been co opted to this position by the Team Council.

On this same evening team member Joanne Stones was co opted by the Team Council to the position of Honorary Team Treasurer, vacant now that our current elected Treasurer due to changed personal circumstances with his time available to the team, has stood down from the post.

A Special General Meeting will take place on Wednesday evening January 9th 2008, to formally elect a new Honorary Team Treasurer.
