Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th January 2008

Today we received the news that Emma Peel, a member of the team’s Support Group since its inception in April 2005, has decided to step down due to many other voluntary commitments on her time.

Over the past two and a half years Emma has helped the team’s Support Group in many ways, beginning (we seem to recall!) with her raising a fantastic £200 for the team when she ran the BUPA Manchester Run in May 2005.

During her time in the Support Group, Emma has assisted the team in many different ways – be it either emptying collection boxes, helping at supermarket collections and even has used her publicity skills (Emma works as a Senior Administrator Coaching, Education & Development at British Cycling) to assist with the team’s public profile.

The whole team membership wishes Emma all the best for the future and thanks her for the time and effort that she has given to the team in the past 2 and a half years.
