On Christmas Eve, 24th December 2007, we received the very sad news that Mr. Michael Clarke, the father of long-time team member Ged Clarke, had unfortunately succumbed to ill health and passed away in hospital.

The condolences of the entire team were sent to Ged and his family at this very difficult time, particularly as it sadly occurred in the festive period.

Today, we received £80 in donations received in the memory of Michael Clarke via Howarth’s Funeral Service.

The team also received independently a further sum of £250 from close friends of the Clarke family.

This marvellous total donation of £330 honours Michael Clarke, who died aged 73, and was made by most people in lieu of flowers at the Requiem Mass.

The thoughts of the team rest with Michael’s wife, Mary Clarke and her family.
