Updating previous reports, regarding our potential new team member sessions (both of which must be attended) scheduled for Thursday evening 21st February and all day Sunday 24th February 2008, we have now received 47 enquiries to join the team.

From these 47 so far to date 42 have sent back as requested our on line initial membership application form.

Within the total figure of 42 returns we’ve had 37 from men and only five from women, despite our specific appeals in the media and on our website for more female members.

So far to date from amongst the 42 on line applications, 14 persons have confirmed their attendance at our February 21st and 24th recruitment sessions.
To anyone who has applied on line and received the team’s initial reply, please note the closing date for confirming your place on the February 21st and 24th sessions is February 14th.

Our on line application form will be closed down again on Tuesday 12th February.

At this stage, it is likely that the team will not be holding another recruitment session until February 2009.
