Westhoughton Rotary Club Charity Presentation evening
This evening Team Training Officer Andrew Ryding and Team Equipment Officer (Base and Catering) Sue Purtill were guests of the Rotary Club of Westhoughton at their annual charity presentation evening.
Held at ’Brooklands’ Peel Street, Westhoughton, each year Westhoughton Rotary Club host a charity presentation evening to which representatives of the many and varied charities Westhoughton Rotary support are invited. Each charity present is invited to speak to all the assembled Westhoughton Rotarians, their fellow Rotarian guests and representatives of all the charitiies present, about their charity.
The Westhoughton Rotary Club then presents each charity with a donation.
We are extremely pleased to announce the wonderful receipt of a £125.00 donation from the Rotary Club of Westhoughton at this evening.
Andrew and Sue commented on how welcome they had been made by all the Rotarians present, and their own interest in the work of all the other charities present.
Andrew and Sue also thoroughly enjoyed the excellent meal as guests of the Rotary Club of Westhoughton which followed the charitable donations.
Westhoughton Rotary Club have now supported the team for a great many years and the whole team is very appreciative of their support and continuing interest in the work of the team.
In return as ever we are very grateful to Westhoughton Rotary Club not just for their considerable support of our team but for their support of so many other charities each year.
