Today the team received a kind letter of thanks for the teams provision of Safety Race Cover for the Darwen Tower Trudge which took place on Sunday 1st June 2008.

The Darwen Rotary Club, who organise the Darwen Tower Trudge wrote. “Bolton Mountain Rescue Teams good natured professionalism helps to make sure that the many people walking for charity can feel that they are being looked after.”

Darwen Rotary Club estimate the day raised over £1800.00 for local charities and community organisations by those taking part on the day.
