Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

15th June 2008

Today team member Fred Taylor headed off to Swaledale MRT for a training day organised by the Mountain Rescue England & Wales. The topic was Opiates – strong painkilling (analgesic) drugs, and in particular an exploration of the potential of some opiates not hitherto widely used in Mountain Rescue.

This is the second such study day, the first being held in North Wales at Plas Y Brenin, with Team members Alistair Greenough & Mark Scott attending.

Refer to article on 1st December 2007 for further details.
