Today our team joined with other emergency services and health care providers, in a display of vehicles and equipment, to promote their work in Lancashire and particularly the Darwen area.

Despite frequent heavy rain showers, the days event was a complete success, with many visitors to the ’ 999 Day ’ having a chat with our seven team members present who attended along with our BM1 and BM3 Mountain Rescue Landrover Ambulances.

Also in attendance were Fire Aplliances from our colleagues at Darwen Fire Station alongside other specialist fire vehicles, a Response Vehicle and an Emergency Ambulance from the North West Ambulance Service (Lancashire Area) and various Police vehicles from Lancashire Constabulary.

During our attendance at this event, members of the public visiting our display kindly donated £23.94.
