Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

29th June 2008

Today a small number of team members with two team Landrover Mountain Rescue Ambulances visited the ’ Active Outdoors Event ’ held in Queens Park, Bolton.

Sadly very heavy rain throughout the start of the day kept the crowds away, but those who did visit this event held by Bolton Metro Environmental Services, were greeted by many displays from a great many local outdoor organisations. A very special treat took place for team member and keen bird watcher Mark Scott when he got to ’hold the hawk’ during the falconry display.
