Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

24th July 2008

Whilst attending the quarterly evening meeting of the Greater Manchester Emergency Services Liaison Group (BMRT, OMRT, RPMRT, GMP, NWAS, GMFRS) the team received a pager call from NWAS (Lancashire) regarding an incident in the Blackburn area.

The call was answered initially by our Team Leader who quickly established it was within the operational area of the Rossendale and Pendle MRT, and with their Team Leader Andy Simpson also being present at the meeting, in the same phone call our TL Garry Rhodes was able to pass NWAS (Lancashire) directly to Andy Simpson, ensuring a speedy collection of information.

This has not been recorded within the teams incident figures, and is recored here for information only.
