31st July 2008

Today the team received a very kind letter of thanks from Inspector Andrea Bradbury, of Darwen Police Station, Lancashire Constabulary regarding our involvement in Incident 75/2008.

On the evening of Sunday 20th July this year the team was called out to recover the body of a deceased male from a steep sided moorland valley near to Pickup Bank Reservoir, Belthorn, Lancashire.

In her very kind letter to the team membership, Inspector Andrea Bradbury thanked the team for “…your professionalism and assistance…” She went on to comment “…these tasks are never pleasant and always stay in the minds of those who deal with them. The Lancashire Constabulary remains indebted to the Bolton MRT yet again for your impressive volunteer work…“
